Shopping totes and bags made from recycled plastic bottles |

Environment Choices of bags that are made from recycled materials (at this time) are few. I was able to get a grocery style shopping bag that is made 100% from recycled plastic bottles but for now only comes in black. For a choice of colored bags we have a shopping bag made with 50% recycled plastic. I also chose a bag made of new polypropylene that is recyclable when you decide to give it up.I know cotton would be a choice too, but they are heavier and don’t hold their shape when your trying to fill them. My thoughts are that we have to start somewhere. Just keep reusing a bag when you shop, whether it’s a shopping tote that’s 50% - 100% recycled material or something that can be recycled.
